Location note: Recruitment covers the San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland divisions.

Covers in-person and remote (Zoom) proceedings across the district in one of the busiest federal courts in the country, producing accurate, timely transcripts on complex matters including IP/biotech, Silicon Valley technology, criminal, and civil rights cases. This recruitment fills two (2) vacancies; the court notes transcript income for in-person reporters averaged over $125,000 annually over each of the past three years. Open until filled.

Salary: $119,330–$137,229, plus significant outside transcript income potential
