GreenState Credit Union is hiring a Paralegal (Job ID 2026-4825) at its North Liberty Financial Center in North Liberty, Iowa. The paralegal works directly with the credit union\'s attorneys, reports to the Director Legal Services & Governance, and provides legal and administrative support for the Legal Department. Duties include performing legal, factual, and records research; identifying relevant judicial decisions, statutes, and codes; preparing and reviewing legal documents including briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda; independently drafting legal correspondence, claims, and responses; reviewing member-provided documents regarding trusts, estates, and corporations for account opening and ownership requests; building and maintaining legal databases and case files; monitoring new and updated laws and regulations; and assisting with preparation for hearings and trials. Requirements include a two-year college degree in a related field or completion of a specialized course in paralegal studies, three or more years of similar or related experience in a law firm setting, thorough knowledge of legal principles and research techniques, experience with discovery materials and ESI, and practical experience with EDMS, ECF, and electronic filing. Pay: $33.31 - $38.94 per hour, with a progressive benefits package.
